What you will be doing
As Finance Controller, you will play a key role in the Danish entities and in controlling our 17 entities across the globe, covering sales, production, and project execution activities. You will be an integral part of driving our digitalization journey, contributing to a more automated and efficient finance setup.
In this central role, you will join a committed and collaborative team, where you will have opportunities for continuous professional development and the chance to build a broad network across the organization. Your work will directly impact our global operations and help shape the future of Haarslev’s finance function.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Take key controlling responsibility for several Haarslev entities
Document and communicate global finance processes
Automate and optimize processes
Support transfer pricing documentation and follow up on Haarslev TP policies
Handle a variety of tasks, including accounting support and business partnering with other functions
Provide ad hoc support to the Group CFO
Support the month-end closing and reconciliation process
Define and prepare new financial reports for follow-up using Excel/BI
You will collaborate closely with other functions within Haarslev. Some travel activity will be expected for this position.
Is this you?
Holds a master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Brings 3+ years of experience in controlling and 3+ years in auditing – ideally within an international company in manufacturing or consultancy.
Demonstrates strong financial expertise with deep knowledge of financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
Highly detail-oriented, thorough, accurate, and organized.
Possesses a global mindset with the ability to navigate across diverse time zones and cultures.
A collaborative team player who shares insights and new ideas, with excellent communication skills at all organizational levels.
Proficient in English and Danish at a business level, both written and spoken.
Experience with IBM TM1 and D365 is a plus.
