The job
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the Lenexa warehouse, ensuring all activities are performed in accordance with established procedures and approved processes. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, this role plans, assigns, prioritizes, and evaluates the work of warehouse staff. The Warehouse Supervisor must demonstrate strong leadership, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
You will report to the Operations Manager and be a part of the Operations team in North America
Tasks and responsibilities
Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as directed by the Operations Manager
Supervise, organize, and coordinate warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
Train, coach, and evaluate warehouse personnel; establish and manage performance expectations
Oversee daily warehouse activities, including inventory control and logistics coordination
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup (load, pack, wrap, label, and ship)
Receive, inspect, and process incoming stock (unload, label, and store)
Perform inventory control activities and maintain high standards for accuracy and audit readiness
Identify and report discrepancies or operational issues
Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members and leadership
Operate and oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment and vehicles
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Participate in an on-call rotation as needed
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Provide other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 3–5 years of warehouse experience
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Proficiency with inventory management systems, databases, and warehouse software
Knowledge of modern warehousing practices, procedures, and safety standards
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift and move objects up to 75 lbs.
Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as needed
Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills
Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment preferred
Basic computer skills (email, reporting, and data entry)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to travel occasionally, as required
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Work is performed in a warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and conditions
Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting required
